This Privacy Policy explains how MKJ GROUP("we", "us" or "our") collects, uses, stores and shares information when you use the QPL Star Hunt website and application platform (the "Platform"). By using the Platform, you agree to the practices described below.
1. Information we collect
- Account details: your full name, email address and mobile number, captured when you sign up.
- Application content: your age, city, Instagram URL, bio, photos and answers to the application questions.
- Payment metadata: the ₹2,000 entry fee is processed by Cashfree. We do not see or store your card number. We do store the Cashfree order and payment IDs, amount and verification status.
- Technical data: session cookies needed to keep you signed in, plus standard analytics (anonymous page views, device type, approximate location).
2. How we use your information
We use the information you provide to:
- process and evaluate your application;
- contact you about your application status, the selection process and the season schedule;
- verify your payment and prevent duplicate or fraudulent applications;
- improve the Platform's reliability and user experience.
3. How we share your information
We share your information only with:
- our internal selection panel and trusted industry experts who review applications;
- service providers that operate the Platform on our behalf — currently Supabase (database & authentication), Cloudflare (photo storage and edge delivery), Cashfree (payment processing), Vercel (hosting) and Brevo (transactional email);
- authorities or other parties when required by law or to enforce our Terms.
We do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties.
4. Storage and security
Your data is stored on infrastructure operated by the providers listed above, with encryption in transit and at rest. Access to application data is restricted to authorised administrators using role-based access controls and row-level security policies. While we follow industry-standard practices, no online service can guarantee absolute security.
5. Cookies
We use a small number of essential cookies (for authentication and session management) and optional analytics cookies. You can disable cookies in your browser, but the Platform may not function correctly if you do.
6. Your rights
You have the right to:
- access the personal information we hold about you;
- correct inaccurate information;
- ask us to delete your account and associated data, subject to any legal record-keeping obligations;
- withdraw your application at any time before submission.

7. Minors
The Platform is intended for women aged eighteen (18) and over. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under that age.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be highlighted at the top of this page with a new "Last updated" date.
